For more than five years the African Albino Foundation has been committed to helping over 4000 albinos in Africa. Daily exposure to the sun causes many skin problems for African albinos including skin cancer. Our aim is to improve the quality of life for these albinos.
This goal can be achieved by sending bottles of sun lotion to contact persons in various African countries. These contact persons then take care of the local distribution and education. In ten years time the foundation has created an extensive transport network in 11 African countries and albinos are being provided with sun lotion and other resources (sunglasses, hats, UV-protective clothing)
